Hello, I'm Jason
I am a journalist and content creator.
I discovered cryptocurrency and blockchain technology in 2016; I was fascinated by this emerging technology and decided to start creating content to simplify decentralized finance (DeFi) concepts for a broader audience.
In 2018, I launched the Crypto Insights Journal YouTube channel and podcast to provide a beginner-friendly platform for learning about blockchain technology. Through engaging tutorials, insights, and updates, I worked to make this transformative technology accessible and empower others to explore its potential with confidence.
After launching Crypto Insights Journal, I began working as a freelance journalist for Decrypt Media. In 2021, I became a full-time journalist with Decrypt covering decentralized autonomous organizations, also known as DAOs, cybersecurity, policy, and DeFi. After three years of covering the cryptocurrency space, I transitioned to covering artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, military technology, and space exploration.
I also co-hosted the Decrypting AI podcast with Ryan Ozawa. On Decrypting AI, we covered weekly news related to AI and other emerging technologies.
